Was at L&D yesterday
I went ot the dr and he sent me there since my blood pressure was high, protein in my urine, and i was swelling...they monitored my little guy who is doing fine and they did some bloodwork on me...they said they expect I will be there again before the birth....has this happened to anyone else?

Ive been to L&D like crazy lately, but not for the same reasons. Those sound like the symptoms of preeclampsia though....did they mention that to you? How are you feeling?

I feel ok, bad headaches though...yes they mentioned it and said they are goint to watch me....why have you been there so much???? Are you ok? Getting anxious? I cant wait, im so screde though...r u?

My mom had pre-eclampsia with me. She ended up being in the hospital a week before I was born. I was tiny, but totally fine.
Im actually on bedrest....have been for 5 weeks. I got an intestinal infection from antibiotics from a UTI which caused me to start having contractions and my cervix to shorten. I was in isolation in L&D for a week and now Im on bedrest until the baby comes...they are trying to keep the baby in there as long as possible....getting to 34 weeks is a big milestone and Im just about there so that is good news!! I wasnt nervous at all until all the hospital stuff...now I am very scared about actually giving birth or something going wrong.
Did they actually diagnose you with pre-eclampsia or are they just monitoring you for it?

It does sound like pre-eclampsia, and definitely follow up with them on follow-up visits or tests.
I'm glad to hear you don't feel badly otherwise, except for the headaches and that your little one seems to be fine.
