waking in the middle of the night
DD is 5 months old. She goes down around 8ish and is capable of sstn. But the past week or so she's waking once or twice. Last night as horrible and she woke every few hours. She started at 4:30am, then every night has been an hour earlier. I would normally go in put her paci in and she will fall back to sleep
Should I let her CIO ( which we did for bedtime)? Should I not go in? Should I get rid of the paci altogether? I want to get her a lovey b/c he loves to hold things and cover her face while falling asleep so I am wondering if I should the paci with the lovey. Alot of the time she cries she's holding onto her sleepsack and trying to pull it to her face.
TIA

Re: waking in the middle of the night
she could be teething or learning something new... they become alot more aware of their surroundings as well...

she could def. be teething. And she's been a lot more active these days.
But what do I do? Do I go in, let her cio?

Re: waking in the middle of the night
We had this last week and I did the gradual progression, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min. I would go in and put paci in, reposition, and rub head. After 3 nights of a 2:30 wak-up, it got later and later. Now he is back to waking up b/w 5 & 6. I think he is teething though.
