Waking from naps?
Do you wake your baby from naps to keep on a schedule?

Re: Waking from naps?
Absolutly not....I let her sleep as long as possible. The only time I have waken her is when she falls asleep and its close to her bedtime. I will wake her up to play before her bottle and get her ready for bed so she's not up all night long.

Re: Waking from naps?
Yes... I never let DD take longer than a 2.5 hour nap (if shes sick or SERIOUSLY sleep deprived I'm sure I would bend that rule.) DD had her days and nights confused when she was a newborn and at 6 weeks I started waking her up from naps to feed her/keep her on a schedule (let her know that day was naps and night was sleep), and she began sleeping through the night, so I stuck with it. I know lots of people would disagree with me, but it worked for us!

Re: Waking from naps?
Nope. I let her sleep. If she's sleeping long, then she obviously needs the sleep.
The ONLY time I wake her is if her afternoon nap goes long. Her bedtime is 7:30 (we start bedtime routine at 7pm), so I do not let her sleep past 5:30.

Re: Waking from naps?
When DS was little, no. I let him nap as much as he wanted, and I never found that it interfered with his sleep.
Now he is 25 months though, and I'm finding a long nap means he will be up for a LONG time at night. So I do wake him at some point--otherwise I get no time alone with DH.
