How is this town? The area by Muncey Ave?
I don't care about school district, just area, safety, sense of community..etc.
Thanks

That is part of was once called Arnold Estates. Its a nice area, near a county park (mostly soccer fields), not far from the HS. (I live in the area so I guess I'm biased. I would say its mostly a blue-collar town, parades for Little league and Memorial Day go on in the area. The only real complaint i have are the grocery stores...they all stink.

We put a lot of our clients in the apartment complex on Muncy Ave. (Holiday Sq). It's geared to seniors and the disabled. I haven't heard of any problems arising.

I live up in the number streets, by Joe's Market and C&J. Many of my neighbors bought their parents' home or bought to be near their parents. I've been here for 18 years and love it. And while Shop Rite literally stinks and Stop and Shop is a little pricey we do have Joe's and Meat Farms is close enough.

Re: W. Babylon
my DH lived there a few years and I was there about 2. I liked the area a lot. Neighbor were friendly, quiet, beautiful houses. Arnold Estates is really nice. We looked over there when buying but decided on West Islip when we found this house
