vitamin drops, thrush, and infants-
just came back from the pediatrician the other day and she recommended vitamin d drops as a supplement, and also prescribed drops for thrush.
i am Terrified that administering these might cause him to aspirate or choke
anyone else on the same paranoid wavelength?
is there anything i can do to prevent choking?

put the drops towards the cheeks on the inside of his mouth or in between the lips and the gums, he won't choke that way. then stroke the side of his cheek to stimulate the swallowing instinct.
