visiting hours at st charles maternity?
The only have general visiting hours from 7-8 are they strict with that? My SIL just had a baby and I'm in the area earlier so I wanted to visit

My brother and sister in law just had a baby there on Feb 3rd. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on which side you are on) they are very strict with the visiting hours.

With the evening hours they were strict, but the 2-4 when they have grandparents and siblings, I had my entire family and they said nothing, I had fantastic nurses, and as long as you weren't loud they let it slide.

They were strict about the hours when I had my DD in 2008. Let me tell you though, I thought the hours were strict and I was concerned however, it was MORE than enough. You're tired after having a baby, you're busy recovering and taking care of your little one and the LAST thing you want is people flowing in all throughout the day. I was VERY happy with the fact that it was grandparents only from 2-4 and then general visiting from only 7-8. I also liked that during the general visiting hours the babies HAD to be in the nursery. I didn't want everyone touching her at just a few hours/days old.

Yes, they are strict. The doors are locked when it's not visiting hours.
