Video Monitor
Low and behold I'm having no luck with my AngelCare Video Monitor.....I love my monitor and can't complain about it at all.....this morning I managed to knock the parent unit off of my night stand and cracked the screen...it's still functioning but I"m afraid it's going to poop out at some point. Last week I had a new unit sent to me that goes in my sons room because for some reason that wasn't working....so I can't call Angelcare and ask for a replacement parent unit cause they will think I'm scamming them...ughh....but in the case I need a new monitor, I was wondering what you use...and what are the pros and cons of your monitor? Thanks so much for your input...it's all much appreciated in advance.

I love my Motorola monitor. We have the two camera version, one in the play room and one in the boys room so that I can cook and go to the bathroom upstairs and make sure they are safe. I heard the summer infant monitors break all the time

we had the summer infant originally... but as pp said we had issues woth it. exchanged it for the Motorola and WE LOVE IT

I have the Motorola too and it's great...but I find the battery life terrible (but it may be the norm for video monitors I never had any others to compare it to)

I also love the Motorola but second the terrible battery life.... Like literally after an hour or two it's dead

I have the same Motorola one I love it! It also plays music and it tells you the temp in the room. Its great! I had summer it I hated it.

I have the Motorola, too. I love it, except I have to agree with the other posters that the battery life sucks. Also, I've found the room temp feature to be totally inaccurate, but I have a separate thermometer, so that doesn't bother me.

Had the summer infant for 3yrs and it was ok and did its job. When DD came we got the motorola and LOVE it!!

Motorola -- LOVE it. I keep it plugged in all night and when I do bring it downstairs, I never have a problem with battery life, but I've only ever had it unplugged for 2 hours max!
