Very Very VERY HAPPY Mommy here!!!!!
SO, some of you know I was posting the end of last week about "WHat is wrong w. DS" Well, I went out and bought the book "Health Sleep Habits, Happy Child" and LOVE IT!!!
I am no where near done yet, but the parts I have read so far ahve been SO helpful. I was not letting/making DS sleep enough. One thing I didn't realize were his drowsy signs, which turned into overtired signs which equated to irritable and cranky then crying.
SO, since getting the book, I've been more conscious of his napping, and so far so good.
THe BEST part....he is currently napping in his crib...but he fell asleep ON HIS OWN!!
I was so afraid of putting him down drowsy, afraid he wouldn't fall asleep on his own, but he did it!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!! I know it's not always going to work, but I am so glad to know what was going on and he has been a much happier baby.

Thanks to Sandra (BabyAvacado) I got this book when Nate was almost 3 months. This book was a God-send along with the Secrets of the Baby Whisperer. Using parts from both books, I was able to put Nate on a routine that he was on until he was 2yrs old.

DH just read this book for us, and lots of the parts are soooo helpful. We were convinced DD liked having her arms out of the swaddle to soothe herself, but she's much more calm when they're swaddled with her.
Thank God DH read the book, I didn't have the patience/concentration to read it, but it really has worked for us really well. Although she definitely still has her fussy times.

Just wanted to update...
I have not had time to read much more yet, but wanted to say that I've been using some tactics for a few days now and DS seems to be such a happy baby which equals a Happy Mommy!!
