Re: very scared
Not sure how far along you are, but light spotting could mean implantation bleeding... which is normal. Also, some experience light spotting a lot of the 1st trimester, and it's also considered normal. As long as the bleeding isn't heavy, and accompanied with cramps, you shouldn't worry too much.
Good luck with your next appt.

Re: very scared
implantation bleeding can be very late... it can hang around up there and come down anytime.
Also, spotting is common early on (and quite scary!) If it is super light and either brown or pink, it is less bad than if it's red. Spotting doesn't necessarily mean something horrible. I had bright red spotting one morning at 5.5 weeks (super scary!), and everything is fine.... I'm now 21 weeks.
definitely call your OB (they'll likely want to see you and monitor the situation).
keep monitoring it in the interim
I know exactly how stressful that situation is

Re: very scared
It's entirely possible, if it's only light bleeding and brownish in color.
I had that too between 4-5 weeks. Also if you BD around this time you may also get it. Just part of the unclogging the drain process. I know, gross way of describing it... :D

I bled like that from 6 weeks til almost 12/13 weeks. I went to the ER since the first time I noticed it seemed like alot of blood, and they told me everything was fine. Causes of this could be an internal exam maybe even a day or two before and also s3x. It made me very nervous, so I def. can related to what you are feeling. If you ever feel that its getting worse, Id call your dr. right away to be on the safe side even if it is "normal" to experience this. Goodluck!
