Got scared by a post partum pamphlet I read at my baby care class the other night
The pamphlet was about post partum depression, post partum anxiety and post partum psychosis (which I didnt even know existed). I have anxiety to begin with and now I am afraid it is going to spiral out of control after I give birth. On a better note, I asked DH if he would still love me if he came home from work and I shaved my head like Britney Spears and he said "YES"!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL. What us women go through!

Of everything...birth, delivery, epidural, episotomy, etc....PPD scares me the most.

I feared PPD too. I hit a crazy depressed area in my first trimester. I did not feel connected to baby at all. I cried a lot...
but I did not even have baby blues. It was an instant love when he came out. A love that I honestly did not feel an ounce of while pregnant.
Also, my mom's on the anxiety/depression side as well...but, she had 7 kids and never experienced PPD. Actually, she says it was when she was the happiest, up late nights with her newborns.
