I wanted to add that they probably ****** about their salaries on the air to try and empathize with the typical listener. In no way shape or form are they hurting in the pockets!

Seriously though....every day they make a little comment here and there.
I think Friday they were talking about a boat that John Bell just bought and how it was a yacht and he made it seem as if it was just a fishing boat b.c he could never afford a yacht.

I'm sure its alot- I can't stand them though and don't think they deserve alot.
They are actually pretty rude in person (or they were to us when we went there a few years ago to meet Bon Jovi (DH won a contest))
ETA- Bon Jovi and his boys acted less "DIVA" than the DJs!

Yes I heard that - it was actually Elvis who bought the boat, and he was making it sound like it was a little dinghy. It must be so that their listeners can relate to them. Would you want to hear about how they make half a million a year?

Well, the CEO and all of the real big shots for Clear Channel make in the millions, so I could definately see them making 4 or 500 K, including the commercial spots. I'm sure their salary is "low" like 100K, then they get a NICE bonus depending on ratings.

Really? I met Carolina a little while back and she seemed like a sweetheart. My girlfriends and I talked to her for a while.
