Very nervous

I have been seeing an acccupuncturist for last month. My cycles, although they are supposed to normalize on this new med im on, did and again are wacky. I was 6 days early last month, and now i am 4 days late. The reason i am holding off on testing is because i am extremely nervous of a negative, but i know that may be the case because of my erratic cycles. I guess this is more of a vent than a question. If anyone has any advice, im all ears. Thanks..

Do u have any idea when u ovulate? And what are the range of your cycles?

Thanks for replying. I had one normal 30 day cycle month- with ovulation around day 15. Last month had ovulation on day 15, period began 10 days later. This month ovulated on day 17, and no menses yet. I was diagnosed with a micro pituitary adenoma resulting in prolactinemia, and am currently on dostinexfor last 3 months. I am seeing a RE. how were ur cycles before? i mean if the meds r making u go from a 70 day cycle to a 35-40 day cycle i would say they r working and u r regular for you

to test.. i know sounds absolutely stupid, but i am not feeling like af is coming or i am pregnant. I am unhappy with my physician as well currently adn am looking to switch, was justhoping the meds would be better. I used to be on a 35+ day cycle, and wouldnt ovulate. Now i am ovulating, but the cycle is a bit wacky. figured by now it would have worked its way out, andbecame normal

Ok so u said u think u O'd day 17 and also that ur 4 days late... are u judging when af is due by that 30 day cycle? If that is the case, u would be about 17dpo. If im following u correctly then i would say go ahead and test! Erratic cycles or not, 17dpo is 17dpo and hopefully you will see ur bfp are u using opk's or going by symptoms as far as judging ur O date?
also i completely understand how u feel nervous to test for fear of a bfn. Imo somehow getting af, while depressing in and of itself, is less heartwrenching. My fingers are crossed for u!

Thank you all. I tested this morning, and BFP +. I tested three times, including a digital and allconfirmed. thank you all for being so nice and understanding.
