right, and it does say on the box, if i recall correctly when looking at it, that it is NOT to be used in cribs, pack and plays, only for napping like while out i guess as if you put them in a swing or bouncer in your living room type of situation

Exactly this. It is meant for living room use, like a swing or bumbo. It isn't meant for the baby to be left alone in.

I looked at this at BRU this week and it honestly didn't look too portable to me. I couldn't figure out how you are supposed to pick it up other than lifting the whole thing by the sides.
It's also $130 so I figured a bouncy would be better for half the price.

You can't use it in a crib. We have the FP rock n play sleeper that DD can sleep in. It's pretty much the exact same shape. Only now she's 6 1/2 months old and still won't sleep anywhere flat. I imagine if a baby got hooked on the nap nanny it would be the same problem.
DD loves her bouncy seat though and it was like $35. She still will sit and play in it (although she's starting to outgrow it). She'd just roll out of the nap nanny now, unfortunately. I wish they made something like this that was safe to put in a crib where babies won't suffocate because maybe then we'd be able to get her to sleep in a crib.
