Venue needed PLEASE
I plan on bumping this post alot so i apologize in advance!!!
My DH is turning 30 and i want to throw him a small surprise party. I was wondering if anyone knew of a venue for drinks and small appys. Perhaps where i can rent out the room and will include open or cash bar and some lite buffet food and a room to ourselves. Im willing to do LI or NYC
Any suggestions??

Dave and busters, or you could rent out a bar and just cater in some appetizers.

The Inn in Long Beach... its 2 levels, 3 bars.. DJ and live band.. my sister threw her DH a 30th.. we had such a good time- open bar and apps..

B Bar is an oldie but goodie. You can arrange to have the back bar to yourselves and you don't have to pay them $$$ to do it.
eta to add that it's in NYC
