Venue help needed...brunch... adding another question

Can anyone suggest a restaurant that serves brunch in a private room? would be for 35-40 people. I am in Huntington. Nothing too far South or East.
Other than Novita, Waterzooi, Prime, Rothmans.
Thanks

thank you for the recommendations.

another question...
If you had or have been to a private party for brunch, What foods were served?
I'm having an issue seeing a buffet with scrambled eggs next Veal Marsala.

I always recommend Peppercorns in Hicksville, great food, pretty venue

I went to Cinque Terre Ristorante tonight in Huntington and the party had about 40 people. (maybe more or less I can never tell) Great service and food.

Porto vivio. Britana yacht club. Old fields in greenlawn does a nice brunch, not sure if they would give you the side room. Piccolo. The mill pond.

Bonwit Inn in Commack has private rooms and a brunch catering menu

Eta: Honu in the village also has a private space upstairs and I'm pretty sure they do brunch as well

Black and Blue or Mac's - both in Huntington village.

Had my baby shower at ruvo in greenlawn which was nice.

I was going to suggest Jonathan's as well but I believe you need to guarantee 50 people to get the completely private back room (which is really pretty BTW -- my baby shower was there and we did a brunch buffet).

To me, a good brunch buffet always has breakfast and lunch options -usually eggs, omelette station, bacon/sausage, french toast, waffles, pastries, etc., plus carving stations (beef and/or chicken or turkey), some different salads, chicken dish or something similar, shrimp etc. I love having so many choices

I'm in the process of picking out a brunch buffet (The restaurant is in Long beach, too far for a rec for you).

Party is 12-3. I think i'm doing Omelet station, Eggplant Rollatini and Chicken Francese. Mixed green salad and fruit platter.
The package includes bacon, sausage, home fries, muffins, bagels, cream cheese and jelly.

To me, brunch is both breakfast foods and some lunch foods.

I recently was invited to a brunch at the Milleridge Inn. Don't recall lunch foods being next to breakfast. Desserts were in another room.

We had a big room all to ourselves.

Plenty of things to choose from including seafood and sushi.

Like I said before, my baby shower was a brunch buffet. Food items included:

BREAKFAST - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, hash browns, fruit salad, mini muffins, mini bagels
LUNCH - casear salad, penne a la vodka, teriyaki salmon, chicken marsala, rice pilaf

It was a huge hit and people really enjoyed the variety. My one suggestion would be that if you're having a brunch to be sure the word "brunch" appears on the invite. Brunch showers usually start earlier and I'd hate to fill up on a big breakfast that morning -- would rather save my appetite for the items at the shower!
