Vent
I have called my dr every day since last Friday and he hasn’t called me back
The women I speak to apologize and say it’s typical. I am so turned off by him. I have been in so much pain and have an appointment but not until next week.
How does a dr just not call back?

That is ridiculous. What type of pain is it? If it’s something that urgent care can help with, go there and start researching another doctor for long term care.
Nearly a week of pain? Fck that.

It’s unbelievable to me, my husband wanted to take me to the emergency room that’s how bad it got but I refused
It’s hard because I love him but now I feel almost betrayed by him...I’m going tomorrow and as shy as I am I am ready to go off on him (and maybe look for a new dr unfortunately)

Honestly, if you pain is that bad, you probably should go to the ER. I know it sucks, and going to the ER is awful, but I'm not sure what the doctor could do for you over the phone (or even in his office) even if he did call you back. (I mean of course he should call you back, that is so rude and unprofessional) . But he would probably tell you to go to the ER anyway if you are in that severe pain

If it is that bad, please go to the ER.
Pain makes your blood pressure go up, and that is not good for an extended time.
Then you can start looking for a new doctor. You might even like the one that treats you in the ER.
That's how DH and I found our cardiologist.

Utterly ridiculous of the doctor but I’d take caution if you are in that much pain to not go at least to urgent care.
I have UC and Crohns so if you want to FM me, I’m always here to chat. Hope you feel better!
