VENT!!!!

So I am sitting at my desk at work tying up loose ends before I leave and my mother calls me to see how I made out with my test results. I just had full line of Blood work done by my Gyno to see if everything is good with my body for me to have a baby. Everything came back normal. Even the gene was normal for Poly Cystic. and Cystic Fibrosis. The only thing that showed was I had an UTI. I haven't gotten AF yet and she is climbing the walls telling me I need to see a specialist...blah blah..blah...blah... I must of told her a hundred times that they ran work on me to check everything and it's like it goes in one ear and out the other. She goes into saying that I would go get a second opinon. You have to have fertiltiy issues that's why your period hasn't come. If you don't go to a specialist then you are a fool cause you will never have children! It makes me so MAD that she would say something like that to me. It is very possible that I am having an off month cause I've been under allot of stress or I am infact pregnant and it's too early to tell. She begins to then say that you need to see a specialist cause obviously you aren't pregnant yet and you've been trying for a long time. First off we were trying in January but then things got in the way so we stopped TTC. So we just started up again in April. So she doesn't know anything like she thinks she does. What can I do to get through to her that the doctor says everything is fine? Have anyone of you gone for a complete blood work from your gyno? Blood work to check that you are okay to carry a child? Sometimes I think she doesn't listen to me! Now I am aggravated!!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!

My mother is the exact opposite. I've learned less is more...the less she knows, the more likely she is not to piss me off.

I am so sorry. I know how you feel. My mother is the same way, except that she tells how I am too old to have another child and 1 is enough!!!

@Kris828 - You are right Less is better! I think that's excately what I am going to do now.

@Mig - That's what your mother said to you??? That's crazy!!! Why would she say that to you. I am going to be 34 and this will be by first. But I know people who have had their first child at 40! I am sorry you are going through this!!!!
