Has anyone gone in early December? How was the weather?
DH and I are thinking of going 12/7-12/11 for our anniversary but I wasn't sure if it's too chilly by then. Thoughts? TIA

Re: Vegas
The days can be nice but not pool weather (60's) but the nights get really cold.

I have never been that that time of year but I was shocked when I learned that it can sometimes snow in Vegas. I would expect that the weather could be pretty cold. Of course you could still do shows, dinners, the casinos, just not the pool part (which would ruin it if it were DH and myself going).

Re: Vegas
The locals I met when there told me Dec is their coldest month- can be in the 40s Definitely not pool weather- but there is still so much to do there and it has to be warmer than NY at that time so I'd still go!

I went in early Nov a few years ago and it was very cool (unusually so, according to the people we spoke to). Even too cool for swimming.

Re: Vegas
I went right after Christmas & it was in the 50's... I wore a light jacket, long pants & a hat... chilly but not freezing... I was pretty comfortable.

Re: Vegas
I was there for new years 2 years ago.
It was like spring to me. You will see locals wearing heavy coats and we had on sandals and a zip up.
We went for a gondola ride outside at the venetian. (only because there was no wait) and at one point I was sweating so I could just imagine the gondoliers in the 120 degree weather.
We are going back again this new years.

Re: Vegas
We went for New Year's a few years ago and it was cold - probably in the 50's, plus it rained a lot when we were there.
