Re: Valentines Day?
we don't really celebrate either. it's a hallmark holiday...if you can't say i love you every day - then that's sad... (JUST MY OPINION)...
I may get him a card from his little girl (if it's confirmed next week) and the Steelers cheerleader outfit - but we'll see...

Re: Valentines Day?
Our anniversary is on the 21st, so we don't do much for Valentine's Day. Usually he cooks a nice dinner in and then we go out to a nice restaurant for our anniversary instead (when the prices aren't raised insanely!!).
Last year, I was about 8 weeks pregnant and got him an "I Love Daddy" onesie (unfortunately miscarried). Don't think I'd do that again, so probably just a card and some chocolate

Re: Valentines Day?
DH and i will probably go to Olive Garden or something, we did that last year. I got him a really nice card and will be getting him some of his favorite chocolates. We usually have a very nice night that night.

Re: Valentines Day?
If I am not delivering DS, we will go a couples spa day I think. He needs to relax just as much as I do. I do not think we will do it on V-day, but I think it is a good excuse to do something.
We usually do not celebrate though. I think DH is feeling sentimental this year

We don't usually go out. I always cook a nice dinner at home. Usually steak & lobster so thats what I'll do this year also.

By Valentine's Day we'll have a newborn on our hands, so I am thinking we'll be LUCKY if we remember to even say Happy V Day to each other..

Same here, but then again we don't ever acknowledge V-Day anyway.

Re: Valentines Day?
It's also our 11 year anniversary together so I hope we could do something special- but it's a Saturday this year and going out is usually crazy for V Day on a weekend.
I'd be happy having a nice takeout or home cooked meal in front of our fireplace.

I got ya beat by a year, lol. It's 12 year DH and I have been together. I doubt we're going to do anything on saturday because of the prices and all, but maybe we'll do somthing on sunday or monday.

Re: Valentines Day?
I am due to give birth the beginning of Feb, so we will have a newborn.
I have already bought his card, so we will probably just exchange cards- nothing fancy.
Typically for V-Day we just exchange cards anyway and do dinner the weekend of, that may not be possible this year.

Re: Valentines Day?
Considering I am due on Valentines Day, I think it will be very special this year... if I don't go into labor, we'll just have a low key dinner at home.

Re: Valentines Day?
Well, who knows, we might be in the hospital celebrating the birth of our new baby boy! I am due 2.18, so 2.14 is quite a possibility.
Otherwise, probably a quiet dinner.

We usually do something special for VDay but we don't have plans yet. This baby has been hogging up all our free time and thoughts!
