When very ignorant people who get their "facts" from social media, hearsay and rag news outlets call other people "brainwashed" I just have to chuckle. 
That little chant sure is getting old.
Why on earth anyone after TWO YEARS is still this CONSUMED by COVID, masks, vaccines and what everyone else chooses to do in their own life is beyond me.

What I DO care about is MY right to chose what is best for ME and MY child.
Without being excluded from school, travel and all the other things they are locking us out from- with ZERO scientific reason behind it other than- you have to do what we tell you or you get punished!
That's what I'm so upset about.
What I, and so many others who are fighting this fight, want is true freedom of choice. The right to choose. And that means everyone gets to choose what works for them without judgment or consequence.

Ummm maybe because we still are told we have to wear masks and can't have jobs or do things in life without a vaccine. Things that are FORCED upon us.
If people were given a choice, then the situation would be much different. We wouldn't still be having these conversations.

Here's an example- we wanted to go to Boston this year. Now we can't because we aren't allowed in restaurants or indoor spaces since they got a new mayor in January who said you can't do any kind of indoor activities in the city of boson without a vax card.
We can't go to NYC either (not that I would now, but the option would be nice)
We can't go to Los Angeles.
Forget about Europe or anything overseas
How is that fair? When this vax doesn't stop me from spreading it.
The answer is- it's not!

My comment definitely wasn't directed at you. At all.   I understand where you're coming from and I certainly don't agree with all the crazy mandates at this point. Most make no sense anymore.
However, there is that ONE person on here that loves to just insult people, spread misinformation, and consume herself with all things COVID. That person isn't you.

So Hochul is making an important announcement tomorrow about a "vaccinate or wear a mask" mandate for all indoor places.
I know everyone is getting sick of all the Covid posts, but I just want to say that I just feel so defeated and anxious. I don't know exactly what she'll announce, but it doesn't look good. I swear if I don't have a heart attack tomorrow I'm moving to NJ, at least temporarily.
Thank you for letting me vent. Fingers crossed for tomorrow 
Yup. Honestly I feel that NY is a lost cause. I can't wait till we can finally leave.

Let me start by saying I am not "picking" on you.
At the beginning, most of mandates made sense. The more we learn, the less they makes sense.
However, any one single person's right to throw a punch ends at the tip of another person's nose.
The question now, is how to we balance those competing rights.

That means no masks.
Ok so some people don’t even notice if you are wearing a mask asssss my husband and I just went out shopping and when we drove home we were talking about the mask mandate and I said I am not wearing one anymore. He said, no lie, did you just wear one in the store? SMH. Sooooo some don’t even notice lololol.

I just went to get takeout and was told that it was in effect for another month (my mask was in my coat pocket and I went without a coat as it's warm and figured it was ok).
I had said no she announced yesterday it was over, the manager insisted it wasn't over until March. Then the cashier responded - our governor is a woman?

Omg that is funny. They probably watch the city and NJ news that is ABC, NBC and ABC as well as others. They probably saw the school thing for NJ.
I have friends who will watch these channels and tell me it will be like 5-10 degrees warmer. I’m like, dude, watch LI news as that is not correct lol. Then they say, I always come to you because you know so much. Ummm not too difficult when you listen and read the correct news source lol.

FYI- businesses can still require it if they want. Las time they lifted it, some businesses near me were slower to change, so you want to keep a mask around just in case.
