Vacation? Oct and Feb???
Is four months to close to take a vacation, In the eyes of a employer? It's two different years Oct. 07 and Feb. 2008??

I think as long as you have the accrued time off, it's fine.
Does the vacation accrue by the year or by anniversary date?

As long as you have the time it should not matter to the employer. Unless it is a peak season for your position.

How long are you taking off each time? I personally wouldn't do a week or more that close to each other, especially if you are taking any time off close to the holidays. I have over 40 days accrued, I just don't like how that looks.

we usually go in august and january... so its really only a difference of a month.
it depends on your employer though. where i am now, its not an issue, my old job- different story.
