Re: UTI symptoms in toddlers
I think the little red in the pee diaper would warrant a call to the doctor, maybe it was a UTI but when there is blood in the urine i think that means the start of a kidney infection. I got a couple of those from undiagnosed UTI's but in a toddler im not sure. I would call the ped though, maybe ask if you should bring that red pee diaper with you. I hope she feels better!

No, she didn't have red in her diaper, her privates were red a bit irritated..yah then I would have immediately called the ped!!

Re: UTI symptoms in toddlers
My dd has had a few yeast infections and one UTI. Usually it hurts so much that she doesn't even go to the bathroom, and if she does she cries while going. But it's never red with a UTI, it's only red and irritated when she has a yeast infection. If she is still complaining you should call your doctor if it is something it will not just go away by itself and if it is a UTI the longer you wait the worse it will get.
