Uterine surgery
I may need a surgeon to fix a large septate, if this is indeed my problem. I need the best surgeon.
If you had uterine surgery, who did you use, how long recovery, and did you develop scar tissue in the urterus (Asherman's syndrome) Thanks for your input

Re: Uterine surgery
I just had a lap to remove endometriosis and heard he is one of the top surgeons. He actually specializes in reproductive oncology but does all types of gyno. surgery. He works out of st. lukes in the city and winthrop in li. I went to his winthrop office. His name is Farr Nezhat. His number is 516-536-5656. He does not take insurance so I think you have to have out of network coverage. My recovery was not bad at all. Was up and about 2 days later. I had no endo in my uterus though just outside of it. HTH! Good luck to you!

Re: Uterine surgery
I had surgery with Dr Altmann-Newman at Long Island Jewish in Lake Success. I had a myomectomy and had one large fibroid removed, the firbroid was outside of the uterus so there was no scarring inside the womb. Recovery was really fast and I had absolutely no pain! I never took any painkillers, I'm still amazed to this day how easy and painless that surgery was.
