using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I have no clue why I think I am able to eat for two, before I'm eating for two!!!
I look over on Pregnancy board, and everyone is doing so good on their diets, but I can't even stay on a healthy eating plan and I'm not PG!
I need to get back into it, my pants aren't fitting well right now! I'll start tomorrow, I ate all the bad crap that has been sitting in our house, so I should be good.
Anyone else having this issue?

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I've always had that issue TTC and even now!!! I just figure I'm going to gain all this weight anyway, so why bother!??! It's a bad habit to break and I totally know where you are coming from. Since becoming pregnant it's been a lot easier because I want to eat healthy for me and the baby. Try to think of it that way. You are doing it for yourself and your future baby!!! Good luck!

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I did this when I first started TTC and got really upset about it. I decided at some point to channel all of the over-eating into extra working out. I highly recommend it, I feel SO much better

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
We just spent a week away eating at restaurants and fast food places. I got home and swore our scale had broken while we were gone! Anyway, I couldn't wait to get home and be able to eat real food from my own kitchen. I feel much better but we'll see how long this lasts!

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I have not stopped eating since we went on our honey moon.....2 months ago!!!! I was so happy to finally be done w/the stress of trying to fit into my dress. Now I'm stressing b/c I want to lose what I've gained (I refuse to step on a scale) and a few more lbs b/f we get BFP. I have decided to start looking at whatever I put in my mouth as, will this benefit a future or ? GL to you ladies, unfortunately its just a never ending cycle for A LOT of women
edit for spelling

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I'm actually the opposite... i want to lose a few lbs before actually getting PG so i'm not carrying extra weight then AND after.
the more you eat now, the more you have to lose after the baby is born.

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I'm in the same boat kinda. When I lost the baby, I kept thinking "ehhh why bother losing weight & tryinna get a flat stomach...I'm gonna get prego again soon so why waste my time" well...it's been almost 6 months and I'm not prego yet...and yet I'm not happy with my body still. do you think I've done a darn thing about it? NOPE. I'm just drained.

Re: using TTC as an excuse for over-eating
I actually went on WW when I decided to TTC. I had gained 20lbs after I got married and didn't want to have to loose 2x that much after I had a baby. Its also easier to conceive when you are carrying less weight.
