Using a knife?
When did your child start using a knife? I know they sell little toddler utensil sets with knives. But my son is 2.5 and I can't imagine why he would need a knife right now? When did you give one to your child to start practicing?

My DD started using that one, from that set, around 3.5. She is very interested in using her "kid's knife" and can cut some things like ravioli, etc.
We just let her try once in a while when she feels like it.

I couldn't imagine DS using a knife at 3, I think we didn't really give him one until he was 6ish. At 8 he is finally starting to really use a knife.
