Updated Beta level, should I be worried?

I just got the call for my second beta... it didn't quite double since Monday and now I'm scared.. it went from 323 to 576 so I'm not sure if that indicates anything is wrong? I have to go back again for a 3rd beta Friday... ugh this is so stressful!

Update below on 3rd beta...

Re: Updated Beta level, should I be worried?

what did the Dr say?

As long as it goes up more than 60% in 24 hrs you should still be OK.

The Nurse didn't really say much, just that it rose but they like to see the numbers double, so they just want to make sure with another beta test on Friday that everything is supposed to rise like its supposed to since the numbers were supposed to double... ugh i'm so worried now.

id say 90% of the time they double... but its still possible to have a successful pregnancy without literal doubling betas... but the only way to know is to wait till a sono.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Updated Beta level, should I be worried?

How many dpo was your first and second beta?

I am going through the same thing and everywhere I read it says that the beta should double every 48-72 hours, or at least 60% in 48 hours. So yours are doubling in 58 hours and have rose 78%. So you're good!

First beta was 12/12 which I believe was 14 DPO (15DPIUI). 2nd beta was 12/14, 16 DPO... I hope so! I think sometimes googling makes it worse!

How many DPO are you now and how have your betas looked?

Your beta is high for 14 days. Mine was 270 at 14 dpo and 443 at 16 dpo. My theory is that I maybe had twins but only one is growing. The nurse was not concerned with it not doubling and I don't go back until my sono next week. I'll let you know how it turns out!

thanks gina, shiv i hope your sono is ok.

I just got my 3rd beta and its 949... so now i am worrying myself that everything is going to go wrong being that its not doubling. Nurse said its still rising to come in next week for a sono... praying everything is ok!

That's a really good rise- don't be worried. I was a nut in the beginning of the week, but now my mantra is: 'pregnant until proven otherwise'
