The doctors inserted a trach tube into Chris' throat today so they could take the other ones out of his mouth. He opened his eyes briefly again today and made an attempt to squeeze the nurses hand when she asked ! He is taking small steps in the right direction. The prayers are working so keep them going !!!!!! Message edited 10/29/2008 4:21:26 PM.

They're trying to alleviate it. His vitals are holding. It's all a waiting game. I'll keep you all posted as I get updates from family. I appreciate all of your prayers.
