Update with ques-Injectables Ques
I know injectables give you more eggs, but are they better quality eggs as well?
Are my chances of IUI with injectables increased just cause there are more follicles or is there something else?
I've currently done IUI w/clomid and the doc is giving me the option of increasing dosage of clomid +IUI, IUI with injectables or IVF. Not sure what to do. Freaking out about the IVF.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Our only issue is 6% morphology. I'm 33, DH 40 (not sure if this info chances things)
Update-
Asked the doctor yesterday and she said yes the injectables make more follicles than clomid. As far as the egg quality question. She started telling me that injectables are a pure hormone and the clomid may have anti-estrogen properties therefore giving you a less quality egg. She was talking so fast and I was a little overwhelmed with the info (I was doing my IUI as well) that I didn't ask her to clarify. Anyone else hear this?

what i do know is generally injectables are better for many because clomid can thin out your lining.
as far as quality goes...i dont think so...i think its quality...but maybe someone else knows?

I did 2 IUI's with injectibles. I did not take clomid so I cannot comment on that but my doctor said that a medicated cycle in general is better than an unmedicated cycle b/c not only are the eggs available, but the lining and cervical mucus are usually better. I went straight to injectibles - even though I ovulate regulary and my husband has excellent counts. We wanted to do whatever we could to up our chances. Ultimately IUI did not work for us and we moved onto IVF. Good Luck!!!

I think the quantity goes up but the quality is not changed. IMO the IUI is the way to go until you find that you need to move on. IVF is not as bad as you may think but alot of people get lucky with IUI
