Congrats!! I think that you made the right decision to accept their price. One (of many) things about co-ops is that it can be a grueling process for buyers to get a mortgage. The mortgage company looks at comps in the complex and if this sale is higher than the last then it's difficult for the mortgage company to feel confident lending such a high amount. I think that you just avoided a big headache and I am sending lots of good wishes for a quick and smooth sale!
