Update on my bedrest/cervix issues SMALL UPDATE in original post
I had a followup appointment/sono this morning. As you might remember, last week (on my birthday!  ) I found out that my cervix was measuring way too short and was placed on bedrest.
I went back today to check things out. First of all, I found out that my cervix was only measuring 5 mm last week! 5 millimeters! (It is supposed to be at least 3 cm at this poiint in pregnancy.) I am so glad I didn't know that last week because I was in a really rough place and I would have been terrified.
Today, my cervix is measuring 1.3 cm, which is way better but still not great, so as I predicted, I'm home on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy. They also did the FFN (cervical swab) to see whether it was likely I would go into labor within the next two weeks - I get those results tomorrow. Otherwise, baby looks fine, fluids look great, and I'm fine otherwise.
I'm relieved it seems that the bedrest has been doing its job. I already came to terms with the fact that I'd likely be here until the baby comes, but it still stings a bit to have it confirmed. I'm just happy to know that the baby is fine and I'm hoping she stays cooking for a few more weeks! I am 32w3d today.
Thanks everyone for your super-kind comments and FMs ... they are all appreciated. I have been hiding from my friends and family because I've been depressed about things, but it's nice to know I have this board to come to and get it all out. Thank you! 
SMALL UPDATE: Just heard back from my OB's office (at 10:05 p.m.! Love that online messaging system they use!) and my FFN was NEGATIVE, meaning that I'm not at risk to go into labor in the next two weeks. WOOHOO!!!!!!

I'm glad things are getting better, not as you planned, but better than last week. Hang in there or rest up(?.)
Just remember to rotate because bed sores are unbecoming, so I hear through the geriatric circuit.

Hey bedrest buddy! I was glad to see you post, I was thinking of you! Look at it this way..we each made it through another whole week!! Mentally know that every week your baby cooks is a great one! I am 34W today and want to do another 2, but when I started bedrest, I was just over 32 as well..you can do it and you're doing the right thing!! I had an FFN as well and mine was positive (that started the whole thing)...hang in there..FM if you want "company" and just think..on a day like today, staying in and cooking is better than being out in the rain, slow and yuck!
