I would sue him. Especially since the person who bought the auction said there was nothing of what you described. She could be your witness that he took your belongings.
I would contact an attorney to see if you can go after him.
The photo thing could show his character.

I agree that you should call him and see if he has it. Then try to get a lawyer to help you. I bet the POS has your stuff. If he threw it away he loses all power over you. If he has it he can still hold it over you.
