UPDATE as of 1/6 on Kelly's (Waterspout4's) son Michael...
I heard from Kelly this morning and she asked me to post an update.
Little Michael's surgery went well but recovery has been difficult. He hates the IV and keeps trying to rip it out.
He is in a room but not yet admitted but will be staying overnight.
Kelly thanks everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts.
Either Kelly will update his progress later or I will post when I hear something from her.
I know they can still use prayers so let's please keep them coming.

Heard from Kelly just now (1:15PM) and Michael is sleeping. The first 4 hours of recovery were scary with his heart rate elevated due to the surgery. Hopefully he'll get some rest now.
Heard from Kelly around 4PM. Michael is definitely being kept overnight. He's not drinking yet and had trouble taking some of the pain meds, which the nurses gave orally but in liquid form (poor little guy!). Kelly or her husband will stay with him at the hospital. He's gotten very little rest as he'll only sleep in spurts. Kel has no wifi there so I'll update any news later on.
Update as of 6:30PM - Heard from Kelly a little while ago. Little Michael is now drinking and acting a bit more like himself. He still is staying overnight but this is good progress. 
1/6 Update: I heard from Kelly and poor little Michael isn't doing so good. Michael had a rough night and is refusing to drink. The doctors came and checked on him this morning and they detached the IV from the machine in hopes to get him to drink. They won't release him until he's drinking. He's had about 1.5 oz since 8AM and did eat 1/2 of a pancake. Hopefully he'll start drinking soon so he can go home and hopefully get more rest.
