UPDATE - Ok, I haven't a clue???
Just took an OPK and it's positive? My cervix is still fertile too? But according to my chart my temp rose 2 times already?  I don't have many temps to compare too so it makes it hard?
I did take an OPK last night late, and that was negative, but dark. But, I have only gotten 1 positive OPK at night. I usually always take them in the afternoon. I'm so confused.
I only started temping 2 mornings ago. First temp was really low, which I thought was because since we moved last week, we're now in a house that has a ceiling fan that my DH insists we go to sleep on, but then the next 2 mornings are much higher, but I had kids in bed with me and one night didn't have the fan on and the other one did? The house temp could have been different too? I don't know. From previous charts it showed that I've O, but this is the first time I'm temping in our new place. Maybe that makes a difference? I'm also now taking a B-vitamin and DHA supplement too? Don't know if that makes a difference or not? These are the only things that are different this month. What do you think? Can you take a look at my chart?

Well it sounds like you didn't miss it after all. I don't know much about temping, but definitely take advantage of the positive OPK!

You really think so? Would I have gotten a positive OPK if I already ovulated? Say if I ovulated this morning? I already peed twice before taking the OPK today and after holding it 5.5 hours so it's not old pee!

I am so hoping that I didn't O yet. I would love to BD right away, but I'm at work and we won't be able to BD until after the boys go to bed.
Also, my DH BD last night with a cold and today he's not feeling well either. You know when they have a cold the world is ending. He even stayed home from work. I wish I could stay home from a cold. 
I'm going to have to load him up on Advil Cold and Sinus and get him to BD tonight!

Well since you took one last night and it was negative and today is positive, and your cervix is still high and soft, it leads me to believe that you probably didn't O yet. Your LH should spike before you O. It would be possible you caught it on the way down, but like I said, since it was negative last night, that doesn't seem to be the case for you.

Okay, my temp went way down this morning and this afternoon I took another OPK, it was negative. So does that mean I ovulated already today? It was positive yesterday around 3:30pm. It could have been positive overnight yesterday/early morning, I don't know? It was negative around 10:00pm the night before last. Since the OPK is negative and my temp was low this am, I'm just assuming I ovulated sometime this morning since my OPK at 2:30pm today was negative. 
It also doesn't help that since I have a cold that I slept with my mouth open again and my arms were chilly. I don't know if I had the heat on or not? Getting accurate temps has never been harder for me! It used to be so easy, but with 2 kids now, it's nearly impossible.
Can you look at my chart today? Thanks!

The OPK detects the LH surge which precedes ovulation - so it's possible that you are Oing now, or will O today or tomorrow, but the negative OPK shows that the surge is gone, that's all.
ETA: I am assuming you just started temping this cycle But if your temps go up tomorrow and the next day I think it's safe to assume you O'd sometime today.

I've been doing this for years, but for some reason I feel clueless!
I thought that once the surge is gone, and the OPK is negative that you've already ovulated? So even if the surge is gone, it's still VERY good to BD even after a negative OPK? I couldn't remember? I just thought that the egg has already dropped and the sperm wouldn't have time to get to the egg by then.
I've also been temping for years. I have just been second guessing myself since my charts have been different than what I'm used to. This month I only started temping for this month a few days ago so I don't have many temps to go by. Also, since we moved a week or so ago, my temps have been all over the place so it's throwing me off completely.
Do you think we should BD tonight too?
