Unwanted holiday gifts - what do you do with them?
do you donate them, or just toss them?
I'm not talking about expensive items... things like mens socks with raindeers on them, etc

i would try freecycle first, if i didn't get a response there i'd donate.

If I can't return them or if I can't think of someone who would enjoy the gift then I donate it. I try not to throw anything out when there are people who have nothing. I usually keep a bag in the basement that I put things in throughout the year that I don't want. When the donation truck comes around I just put the bags out.

That's pretty much what I do, except the bag is in the garage.

ditto. except i dont keep donation bags out. i usually just do one or 2 big go throughs of my clothes per year and donate what i dont need/want.

I definitely donate and I am secretly trying to get rid of some christmas decorations that DH think are awesome.
But if the box doesn't look good (like obvious regift) sometimes I'll throw it out.

A combination of donating and ebaying. Every year my MIL gives a soft sculpture snoman. I never display them, don't love snowmen and she keeps at 
Food gifts I take to the faculty room at work.
