Uncomfortable cramps after O?
I actually don't think it's pregnancy related I've been feeling these dull, uncomfortable cramps in the same place AF cramps would be...
Has anyone ever experienced this after O? I used an HCG shot, not sure if that makes a difference.. My dr said it's probably ovulation pain- fluid from ovulation.. even though I O'ed 7 days ago at this point...
I looked it up online and found info about corpus luteum cysts, I'm wondering if it could be that...
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I'm trying not to get too paranoid or worry My dr said to let him know if I get the pain along with fever or vomiting!
So much for this being a hopeful pregnancy sign

Re: Uncomfortable cramps after O?
I get pains on O-day.
For the first few TTC cycles, I got weird cramping after O. I figured out that they were from food. (I was beat from all that BDing, so I'd have a gallon of coffee with breakfast, and get abdominal cramping). Has your diet changed at all?

No change in diet that I can think of
Ugh at least my beta is next Friday so if anything I'll know soon enough... but to be honest at this point, I'm just curious what those pains are from! It was pretty uncomfortable last night! So far since I've woken up I've been ok....

Re: Uncomfortable cramps after O?
i def had lots of cramping after O last cycle. i think its worse in a medicated cycle. i distinctly remember my ovaries still felt like they were making follies for like the entire 2WW. and i had the belly button area stretching/tugging cramps too.
remember you likely O'ed at least 2 eggies - so everything you would feel from one egg is multiplied!!

Re: Uncomfortable cramps after O?
I don't know where I am in my cycle in terms of ovulaton...I'm CD31 today. But I keep getting these quick, but intense zaps (only way I can describe) in my lower right side--above the pelvic bone. No cramps, though yesterday I had a pretty bad lower backache. I'm getting a wee bit nervous because these "zaps" are enough to make me wince.

What made you think they are not preg related? I think they are. Well, they better be, otherwise I have been having these cramps for a week already for nothing Posted by PennyCat

i know you said you dont know where you are in your cycle - and although CD31 is late for O - what you are describing sounds a lot like follie growth/O pains - esp. if its accompanied by backaches. i tend to get backaches right before O.

It feels different than my regular O pains, and my pains are usually a little lower. Plus CM is all creamy and CP is firm, so I doubt I'm about to O. I had O pains earlier this month and wet CM, but no LH surge. I usually O on CD20, but I developed a UTI on CD19, so don't think I O'd. I also had to stop the OPKs because holding urine wasn't happening.

Re: Uncomfortable cramps after O?
Thanks everyone! I started to get nervous because the cramps are pretty uncomfortable.. they vary with intensity and at some points radiate onto my back We'll see by next Friday if it's a pregnancy sign!

i am 4w6d pregnant and i have had AF like cramps, that have been very uncomfortable, since my transfer. i literally feel like AF is coming. sometimes, they wake me up at night! but, they are not painful - they are just uncomfortable
it could be a good sign !! my cramps have not stopped!
