umbillical cord falling off-question about how it looks
Hey all, my baby is a little less than 2 weeks and her umbillical cord stump fell off..it is weird looking-red and i noticed a little blood today on the inside of her onsie..
should i be concerned or is this how it normally looks when the stump falls off?

I would have the dr look at it. My baby just had brown crud in the belly button after it fell off and that fell out a few days later.

I agree. The doctor should take a look at it to make sure it's healed fully before any baths, etc.
Dried blood is completely normal. Fresh blood should be checked out.

I agree, get the Dr to look at it. DD's fell off very early (4 days!) and Dr had to put a drying solution on it -
