Just got back from the doc.
phew.
everything is fine.
I'm VERY low risk and shouldn't have been worrying.
i had to wait for like 30 minutes and I got myself into such a state that my BP was through the ROOF.
Doc talked to me- gave me results, had me relax, and I was fine.
Only gained 1.5 so far (phew)
tomorrow I am 13 weeks and I'm happy to have them behind me.

Congrats! I opted against it, actually cancelled my appointment for that reason. I would have stressed myself out too much! Glad you got good news!

it was miserable.
my dr. even said- maybe you don't want to do the AFP with the way you were.

I opted against it also...for the same reason. However, I am going to take the AFP, but I really don't think I want to.

I feel like with my luck, I'll get a false positive and it would just do so much to me, my DH, my body...I just can't go through that. But it would have been nice to get another ultrasound!

If i could take it back, I would have.
I was convinced during the ultrascreen that the baby had a gigantic "franken neck" - not like I know what I am looking at- it was cool to see the baby- but I totally freaked myself out!!!!
