I have mine on Friday! It's all external and it lasts longer than a typical sono so you really get to check out your baby! You also have to have a blood test - they take it from your finger.
I hope I'm right- I haven't even done it yet!

For me they did an internal to get two or three measurements and then they went to external. It was like 30-40 minutes of just baby watching. It was AWESOME!!!! The tech would jiggle my belly because the baby was being lazy at first. They needed him/her to move around to measure the neck. Finally baby did. It was miraculous.
