Ugh...let's talk clothing
First of all...I have to say, I'm not loving any new styles of shirts lately. Second of all...I'm in that stage right now where my regular shirts fit but I look like I have a fat belly/muffin top. I can't wear maternity shirts yet because they're too big.
I need to get shirts that will look nice on me, hide my beginning baby belly but still look flattering.
Am I dreaming?
I really don't like this stage of pregnancy.

Re: Ugh...let's talk clothing
I was in that stage in December. I started wearing the bella band so I needed shirts that were longer and would cover it and not be fitted. I went to Banana Republic and got a few shirts that worked out really well. I'm still wearing one of them and will wear them all after the baby comes too.

Re: Ugh...let's talk clothing
I started with some maternity shirts at 12 weeks. I had a few like this from the gap that were my favorites at the time
At the time I looked pregnant though. It was at the point where strangers were aksing me if I was!

I agree with you as far as those empire waist tops go.....
I really like the motherhood plain cotton T's.... they fit similr to a regular T but are long enough to cover the band on mt maternity pants (that are still slipping down a bit)...

I'm' doing the baby doll/trapeze tops from the misses/jr section (I got a great one in the JRs at kohls SO brand in XL and it fit me a couple months back. I wore it fri night and it clung to the belly!)

ITA! I loved Gap shirt's. Also Babystyle. They are nice and thin, great for layering and really grow with you and never loose shape. I had one shirt that I wore at 16 weeks and 38 weeks and even after and it never streched out.
