I was laid off in 2004, so I understand how you feel.
I know you're close to your due date, so I assume you would start looking for a new job after you deliver?

Thanks guys...i'm trying to think positive. I was given 8 weeks severance so at least that will cover me for the 6 weeks I was going to be paid for maternity. It's so scary knowing there's nothing to go back to after the baby.
The exact same thing happened to me last year when I was out on maternity. I literally got a congratulations Email with a BTW attached to it

My DH is hiring alot of people at his office
I know they need tons of people- not every mortgage company is laying people off
