UGHHHHH DD is in the throwing/dropping things phase...
At first she thinks its funny but after the 50th time and I don't pick it up she starts whining and screaming....any tips...OYYYY.... She's been throwing/dropping EVERYTHING today!!!

I cant give you a solution, by i can truly sympathize as ds is in the same stage... i just got a nothrow band for his cup for the high chair...and he broke two avent cups in the process.... atleast i have two dogs who know not to touch the sippy cups and to clean up food on the floor

okay i think this is it...it isn't cute as i thought, lol but it's them discovering cause and effect...and it's all part of the bigger picture!

Once your baby perfects grasping, throwing isn't far behind, so watch out. Many babies enjoy hurling their toys and having you pick them up. They begin to understand cause and effect and the results of simple actions. They may drop objects just to watch you pick them up, or may throw something to see where it lands.
By the time she's a year old, she'll enjoy playing ball, stacking towers, and banging things together. By the time she's two, her artistic side will come out, and she'll be fascinated with crayons and how to use them to draw, colour, and write. At three years old, she'll be co-ordinated enough to attempt to jot down letters and maybe her name.

Bottle Keeper
You can attach it to the stroller, high chair, or even the baby's wrist to keep the bottles off the floor. Everything else, well, I consider it exercise for mommy!!!

Thanks!!! She's gotten the banging thing down too, so I have her banging EVERYTHING and then throwing things too...OYYYYYYYY
that bottle keeper is a good thing....the best is when she throws mushed pieces of banana onto our rug...oh the joy of cleaning that up!

I feel your pain..........my DD is one and she still LOVES the throwing and dropping. I wish I could tell you it ends soon but so far for me......NO end in sight!!
