Ugh... these toddler mood swings
What's with that? My 22 month old can go from the happiest, smiley boy to a major tantrum in the matter of moments.
He's usually happy, but a switch can go off and next thing you know he wants to throw himself down and bang his head and roll around on the floor
Anyone else have a toddler like that?
Oh, and forget about it when he wakes up. Not a morning person so I've learned to distract him. He'll be sitting in his crib happily babbling to himself and I'll go in to get him and if he doesn't want out yet then he throws himself back in. Does the same thing with the bath. Happily playing and we give it time and eventually tell him it's time to come out. If he doesn't want to come out it's not good. We have learned to distract him and he'll be ok again. Sometimes takes longer to calm him down

Re: Ugh... these toddler mood swings
my 22 month olds are the same way! I told DH when my belly gets bigger (I am 22 wks) that I am not sure I will be able to get them out of the crib. They always stand up for me to get them and then fall back so I can't reach them. My new thing I do is I say ok, mommy will come back in 5 minutes. When I come back they are usually waiting for me to take them out, which is a lot easier.
Let's hope this phase isn't too long.

My 22 month old is the same way. If I walk away for a minute, all out fit, throws himself down, will bang his head.
He wakes up from every nap crying & needs to be held for 20 minutes b4 he's back to "himself."

Yup, I'm 25 weeks pregnant so I can't bend all the way down anymore.

My DD is the same way. I just pray every day that she grows out of it soon.
