Ugh, I need some relief!
I have been congested and have had a sore throat for a few days now. Yesterday I asked if Mucinex was safe because I felt like the congestion was going into my chest. Today I feel like my nose is a leaky faucet and it won't stop running.
I just called my primary and they are only open Mon--Tues-Thurs 9-1  and my OB has already left for the hospital to do scheduled deliveries over there for the day.
The receptionist at the OBGYN said Plain Robitussen, Plain Saline Nasal Spray, and Plain Tylenol are the only things on her list that I can take...anything else I will have to talk to the dr about tomorrow morning.
I am miserable over here. What else can I take?

I use a neti pot and that thing saved my life! I highly recomend it!
Also drink lots of water with lemon. including hot water with lemon and honey for your throat...
Sorry your feeling sick it extra sucky when pregnant!

Also a fan of the Neti-Pot....
my dr told me Sudafed is also ok, but I'd check with yours first...

mine said claritin or zyrtec is ok but i havent taken it. i just sniffle and breathe heavy in my hubbys ear. he thinks its sexy..haha ! jkjk
but seriously hot showers and menthol coughdrops help me..thats it..sorry!

I am going to try and get into see either my primary or my OB tomorrow becasue this sucks and is horrible...I think I need antibiotics at this point!
My nose is NEVER ENDING!

I've taken sudafed this pregnancy and last. My dd turned out ok and it was approved by ob. Fell better
