UGG's ???
Ok, so I've been considering getting a pair of UGG's to have as my 'winter boots'. I dont mean winter boots as in "get out there and shovel some snow" but winter boots as in, "i just want my feet to be warm when im going to and frow." lol
I've never wanted to give in to the UGG's because they are so trendy and silly, but im getting to like the idea of them more and more...plus I hear they do keep your feet pretty warm and toasty.
For those who have them, what do you think of them? Should I get myself a pair??
These are the ones I'm thinking about....

I LOVE mine! Too bad I won't really be wearing them anymore now that we live in Florida... but hopefully there will be some cold nights so I can wear them.

I have owned a pair for about 5 years now and have regretted buying them yet.
They're incredibly comfortable and very warm.

You sound like me. I finally decided yesterday that I want a pair. It always takes me awhile to come around to trendy things - never when they're really popular. Everyone says that they are so comfortable.
Are they water resistant? Can you wear them in the snow?

Are they warm on your feet when youre outside too in the winter? I live in Wisconsin and it gets pretty darn cold here so this is pretty important! lol

what color do you guys all have? I just looked and the chocolate ones I like best are on backorder till 12/17. I dont think my feet can wait that long.

What size are you? I bought the same Classic Short in Chocolate last weekend, and I bought the kids size 6. I am normally a women's 7 or 7 1/2 and the kids 6 fits perfect.

I went to the Uggs store near me, but I was going to order from Nordstrom online. They have them with free returns to the store. there are other sites too..I think shoebuy.com also had them?

You need to buy a water repellant spray. You should be able to buy this at any shoe store. The spray I bought has worked really well. I have a pair in the sand color that I wear in the rain and snow. The water hasn't damaged my boots at all.

Victoria's secret is selling them too and they're offering free shipping on all orders over 100 bucks.
As for your question about being waterproof...
I wear mine to shovel snow and my feet stay warm. After awhile though the leather gets VERY wet and the sheep skin gets kind of cold on the inside. But just to wear around town, you'll be fine.
