uber question?
Does the app allow you to book a car in advance for a few days into the future? or is it just an on demand thing? I cant find any reservation type setting..... Do people use uber on long island/queens?

I think the only way to do that is to book an uberX, but I'm not totally sure...they should have an FAQ section on their site that explains it.
I'm in Queens and I use it (and Lyft)

I live in douglaston and always use Uber. Most I've ver waited was 8 minutes.

That kinda defeats the purpose of it. It's an on demand system not reservations

yeah i don't think you can reserve ahead like a car service
The driver's kind of make their own schedule and put themselves as available whenever they want to work.
So it's on demand only

uber question?
I just used über for the first time this morning - in Commack. It was great! Super convenient and fast. Said car would be there 9 minutes after I booked and it showed up right when it said it would.
