Typical Boss

So I spend a good portion of my week playing babysitter and forcing my department to stay compliant and close out events (compliance stuff). Because of a reorg I have 4 groups to watch while all other departments have 2 groups.

Basically I needed to track and keep our numbers down. I was finally able to consolidate the 4 into 2 new groups. Of course I needed to make sure the 4 legacy groups were clean and then I could retire them.

So I'm here all happy that I finally got it done and one of the team leads gave me a "good job" email. My managers response : "now, as much as I felt the same, these are legacy queues....they are not our active ones....so..."
