Tylenol after vaccines?
My pedi usually tells me after each vaccine if it is typical for a reaction or not after, but didn't this time. He must have forgot. His office is closed so I figured I would ask here.
My son is 3 months and had the dtap and hib vaccines today. He doesn't have a fever but is crying a lot, very fussy. Not usually like him.
Would giving him Tylenol be ok, or should I just hold out?

I always did. My ped said it was ok after shots.

dd just had that shot and doc said if fever or if she was uncomfortable.

Our ped said wait 12 hrs b/c it lessens the effect of the vaccine. I guess b/c the fever is the body fighting the disease and the Tylenol lowers the fever.

Our ped says the same thing. But once I gave my DD half the dosge of tylenol bc she was a complete mess.
