two parter
do you put socks on your kids to sleep the night if they have non-feety pjs?
and
how long do you let DC hang in the crib in the am - awake but playing, happy?

Re: two parter
Socks yes although she Piotr the right one and sleeps with one sock on
I leave her in the crib for up to 1/2 hr until she starts getting crazy in there.

Re: two parter
Socks no- because she is in a sleep sack (plus almost ALWAYS in feeties)
In the AM- she can go about 30 min to 45 min - basically as long as I need to finish getting ready before I get her. I have no time limit on that one!

Re: two parter
No socks because I HATE to sleep with them. We put him in cotton pajamas without feet and then a cotton sleep sack. It just seems most comfortable to me.
Oops forgot to add I let him stay in the crib as long as he wants but usually in the morning he needs to nurse ASAP so he doesn't "chill". After naps he will though. I feel like babies need some alone time too!

Re: two parter
yes if hes not wearing feety pj's
and
on the weekend- as long as he will stay happy in there so we can lay down for a few extra minutes. During the week we usually have to get him up and ready so not very long. (unfortunately he doesnt stay happy for too long before he starts yelling for mama or dadda so he really only plays for about 10mins in there)

Re: two parter
DD sleeps with a sleep sack so if she doesn't have feetie pj's on I don't put socks on (unless it's really cold in which case she will be in feetie pjs anyways).
I leave her in the crib until she starts to fuss, and she wakes me up so I don't really know how long she is in there for, I don't suspect for longer than 10mins though.

Re: two parter
Yes. I even put socks under feeties if I feel like its cold
During the week-if she wakes up before I am ready for work, I leave her until I am ready (as long as she is not upset). During the weekends-as long as she's content. Anywhere from 15-30 minutes maybe?

Re: two parter
No socks because his room is always way too hot.
Most of the time he is in there till he wants out and he his very vocal about wanting to be out. Usually he is content to play for about half hour. I do try to get him before he starts to full out cry. Once I hear his whine and "mamamamamam" call I go in there.

Re: two parter
DS always has socks on, AND he wears feetie pj's over them. I feel like its always cold in my house and he sleeps with no blanket/comforter (unlike us) so that's why I do it.
I don't leave him in there that long maybe max 10 mins, sometimes if I'm late getting ready it'll be more like 15 - but never occurred to me to leave him in there longer,,,maybe I just feel too "guilty" b/c he really doesn't have ANYthing in his crib to play with

Re: two parter
No socks, bc I know they're only going to bite them off so what's the point? LOL. Sometimes they wear footed pj's othertimes, footless. They sleep with a blanket and, according to my DH, I keep the heat on 100 (it's really more like 69) so I know they are warm enough.
In the mornings, the boys like to hang out in their cribs "chatting" to each other for awhile. We get them up as soon as they start crying or if we can't hold out any longer bc we just want/ need to get them up.

Re: two parter
i guess i should probably answer
id say that 85% of the time, he wears feety pjs. i always battle with myself the other 15% of the time as to whether or not I should put socks on him. i dont but i always feel like his feet might be cold?
he is fine in the crib for about 30 mins, playing with his stuffed toys and lovey, rolling around, chatting (with himself)... i just feel like im neglecting him

Re: two parter
No socks, DS always takes them off unless he has shoes on. Socks wouldn't last a minute in the crib. For this reason I try to always put him in feety jammies.
DS never happily hangs out in the crib. As soon as he wakes he wants out.
ETA: man I am jealous of all of you who have kids that will hang out in their cribs for a little bit!

Re: two parter
Yes- socks at night.
Usually she will only "play" for a few minutes before she cries or calls for me. I would let her play as long as she will tolerate it
