Two Night Getaway Nearby
DH and I want to go away for a night or two this summer to celebrate our anniversary. We don't want to go too far away because we'd have to leave the kids with family and we don't want to lose too much of our alone time to traveling.
Any suggestions?
Manhattan is out because we have too many family and friends who live in the city that we'd feel like we should meet up with people.
We've been to Mystic seaport in the past but want something different.
We're up for anything so suggest away!

HIGHLY recommend The Woolverton Inn!!! Get a cottage!!! GORGEOUS and ROMANTIC
BEST.THING.WE.EVER.DID was go there --- we stayed in the Hunterdon Cottage and the place was HEAVEN on earth. We did vineyard tours, tubed down the Delaware River, and spent A TON of  time together!
We are DYING to go back.

Isnt is a GREAT place! we went last year for my 30th Birthday and my parents have been there a lot too. There is just something about it that is so beautiful!! We are looking to go this summer but we can only go on the weekends and it is a 2 night minimum and we would only prefer 1 night

YOu ever go to Mohonk? It has such an amazing spa and lots to do, hiking, fishing, spa, etc.
It's in New Paltz, about a 3 hr drive.
