TTC ?'s

Hi ladies, I am new to this board. DH and I are going to start trying next month. Did you do anything before trying like get tested to make sure everything is OK, and did DH or did you just start trying without seeing the doc?

Also, I found out my doc does not deliver, but another doc in the office I go to does, should I ask to see her from now on?

I'm going to the Dr. before TTC, but b/c I am switching Drs so I want to meet him first and I have a billion ?s. I also want to get his advise on TTC and maybe get my hormones checked to make sure I do, in fact, O.

It can't hurt, but I don't think you have to.

Hello and welcome!! I went to see my Dr before we began TTC. I wanted to talk to her about prenatals, procedures and genetic testing (not sure if that's what your thinking of). I also switched drs because mine, like yours, did not deliver and I wanted to go to one that did. Good luck and hpe your stay on here is short!!

I aslo went to the Dr before TTC. We discussed the process, how long I should try before seeking more help as I have some cysts, don't ovulate monthly and am over 35. We aslo discussed my weight and he put me on prenatals. We did not do any genetic testing or anything of that nature.

No I never went to see my doctor to discuss TTC. I just went off the pill on my own to see what will happen. If after 6 months or so, we weren't successful then I was going to make an appointment.

I just got my BFP the other day and so I am going to see my doctor next week to confirm and ask lots of questions.

I did however start taking prenatal vitamins. I have been taking them for about 7 months now.
